Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Lab Dip Management

  • Track and manage lab dips across all fabrics and trims for seasonal and core programs

  • Review submissions for colour accuracy (Pantone, swatches, CADs) and provide clear vendor feedback

  • Maintain lab dip records in PLM or internal systems

Colour Approval & Execution

  • Ensure colour consistency across substrates (fabrics, trims, prints)

  • Align with Design on visual intent and Raw Materials on technical feasibility

  • Review BPS/BTS submits for continuity and flag discrepancies early

Testing & Compliance

  • Coordinate fastness testing (wash, light, rub, etc.) to meet performance standards

  • Review third-party lab reports (e.g., SGS) and ensure compliance before bulk approval

  • Manage test failures and corrective actions with suppliers

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Design, Development, and Sourcing on seasonal colour direction

  • Communicate expectations clearly with mills and vendors

  • Participate in handover and pre-production meetings to keep colour aligned

Documentation & Colour Library

  • Maintain an organized digital and physical colour library

  • Update internal systems with approved codes and references

Continuous Improvement

Essential Skills / Experience
